interoceptors

In-ter-o-re-cep-tors,
are receptors, that
receive stimuli, from
within the body,
which means,
little chickadee,
that instead of
walking around,
disembodied, like a
Halloween zombie,
I don’t have to carry,
the collective trauma
of every-body.

Instead I can heal
and become,
a unique skilled
and tender spirited
some-body.

What does that
actually mean? Simple!

I need an upgrade!

A new operating system,

where I slooooooow

down and start

paying attention,

to the signals,

my body is transducing;

Cuz the slower

I am, to react,

the more aware,

I am, and the

more aware, I am,

the more I
learn about myself;

So If I want the

emotional intelligence,
the body holds,
then I have to,
get out of
ghost town,
and spend time,
in my own,
personal inner,
university george-town.
