Upside Down

All day long
I use my faculty
of imagination,
sure to turn
upside down
my current confabulations.

I just start
by becoming a character
in a scene,
which is destined
to turn on
the right expression
of my genes,
…to become a dean,
a teen or just lean,

the clear intention
makes it so,
and now the body
with its emotional cues,
gets on board with
it’s job to be seen.

I plant the thought
that acts like a seed
and sure enough,
that thought grows
like a bean.
