Scissors of Mind

Imagination-
scissors of mind
cuts out possibilities
of being human,
from vinyls
of the past,
worn thin, or
from new sounds
from the key
of life, which
evolve my own
best self, I have
yet to know.

The past or future
are recorded
just the same.
Past brings more
of the same,
future can lift
to an ever
deeper joy.

I decide in
every moment
what I imagine.
Each thought and
its paired emotion
carries a life cycle-
divine order
or commotion.

Therefore, my
imagination
switch is always
on my vision;
cuz the habit
of thinking about
something of
which I’m fond
like living
near a pond,
creates a bond,
with that repeated
thought/emotion,
which assuredly
is on it’s way,
to greet me,
in some
future dawn.
